help with field trim

i have a table with a column like this

2dogs @ $200
1@$5.00
1@$25 dogs

i need to trim everything out so I just end up with the dollar amount

i.e.

200.00
5.00
25.00

Can try substring along with charindex if it's on sql server, books online has details.
