ODBC DSN for SQL Database

Hi,

I am trying to configure a DSN entry to connect to a remote SQL database using Windows authentication. I want to use this DSN to configure IP Sentry alerts. But When I logout from the machine with IP Sentry running in the background, it is failing to connect to SQL database.

Can any one have idea of how to configure DSN for SQL database which preserves username and password to be used to connect to the SQL server?

Hi,

What DSN type you were selecting while creating a DSN?

If this was other then System DSN then you must create SYSTEM DSN, otherwise the DSN will not be available to other login.
