Exit a package and Delete old files

I have adapted the demo:

Import all files in a directory (Multi Step) to import multiple files.

I want to further adapt this DTS package to:

1. Exit the package if there are no files in the directory - currently I get an error message

2. Delete archived files older than x days

Suggestions how to do this would be appreciated.

Thanks for advising how to delete files.

Now all I need to know is the best way to exit the package if there filename string is empty the first time through?
