6i is desupported, and references to it at OTN require a few additional clicks to get to. Installing on Linux may be somewhat problematic because Linux was just coming into being in 6i's heyday. Linux x86 is available for download at OTN. The specific answer to the first part of your question is this: read the installation guide.
thanx for your reply . i really appriciate if u provide me the link to install linux version of forms 6i and reports 6i. and if u can please provide some small databases developed on forms 6i and reports 6i (windows version) and backend oracle. just for my study reference
