remote calls to xp

This scenario is to change a clock on a server.
Using NT authentication, same domain

Execute successfully, clock DOES change

Execute successfully, clock doesn't change

I suspect it's tied to authentication, but what exactly I don't know.

Anybody have a similiar experience or know whats going on ?
