SQL 2005 upgrade -- @@version still shows 8???
HELP! I just upgraded a named instance from SQL 2000 to SQL 2005. There were no Failed events and no Errors throughout the install. However, the @@ version is still at Microsoft SQL Server 2000 - 8.00.2040. I have rebooted and have escalated to IBM support services. Has anyone had any such issues? or any suggestions?
PS., out of desperation i tried another upgrade of the same instance and the upgrade stated that the named instance was at version 2005 already---nothing to upgrade.
