degree audit system

I am currently trying to develop an online degree audit system that will let students look up what classes they need to take in order to graduate. Each major needs a certain set of requirements, so I am currently spoofed on how the design of the database should look like. I am using Access to design it, then I convert it to MySQL and developing the app using PHP.

What would be the esiest way to design a database such as this? I have been trying relatiing different tables but it's just not doing the trick! Experts can I get some help or please point me in the right direction!?!? Thanks
