phpMyAdmin is very easy to use and simple, but I have not used MySQL Control Center so I really cannot compare them.
I think I will download and try out the MySQL Control Center though.
Thanks for mentioning it.
thank you but I don't work with php ... I work with .NET
I was doing some lookiing around and I have ran across 3 other tools for administering MySQL. Not sure if they work well with .NET, but you may want to check them out. 2 of the 3 have free trial periods.
1. SQLyog - http://www.webyog.com/sqlyog/index.php
2. Navicat - http://www.navicat.com/download.php3
3. MySQL Tools - http://www.mysqltools.com/
I hope this helps. If you try any of them, please list your likes and dislikes. I would greatly appreciate it as I am looking at some of them as well.
I've found 4 more database management applications. Also found a short article that a user describes his/her experiences with them. They also touch on some of the ones I mentioned in the post right before this one.
1. SuperGUI - http://www.lyriccode.com/download.htm
2. DBManager Professional - http://www.dbtools.com.br/EN/
3. DBOne 2003 Professional - http://www.dbone.info/dbone/download.php
4. MySQL Front - http://www.mysqlfront.de/
The article comparing/explaining them is at: http://www.myphpnuke.com/article.php?sid=940
