    Any body hear about a console to monitor jobs on sql server?

    You can buy third party tools from
    NetIQ or Embarcardero (DBARtisan).

    But why spend money for just monitor job that can be done in em?

    Instead of buying a monitoring tool for sql jobs you can buy batch job scheduling software like Smartbatch, Autosys.

    FOr monitoring jobs, you can create you own intranet webpage to connect to all the server.

    But SQL Server comes with everything like Scheduling, Email, NET send, Alerts etc.

    And master-target server in sql itself, you can schedule and monitor jobs from one server with that.
