ASP DB - Free (Install Problems)

It appears the installation and registering the aspdb-free dll was successful, yet the ASP-test pages don't work. I'm running NT 4.0 and PWS 4.0. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks,

    Chris

    Chris,

What do you mean by "the ASP-test pages don't work"? Do you get an error message? If so, what is the error message? Does your Browser's Address line start with the letters "http" or does the Address line start with a drive letter?

    Mark.

The test file is justasp.asp, and I accessed it by clicking on the link within default.html

Message 1 appears - that says 'HTML Works'
But Message 2 does not, apparently that's the one that verifies if ASP is working.

There's no error message given though, and I'm accessing it from a local copy on my hard drive, so there's a drive letter at the beginning of the address, not 'http.'

    Thanks,
    Chris

    Chris,

That's your problem. The address MUST start with "http". Otherwise the asp code won't get "served".
