The ASPdb.Net site will open in a week or so. We are fixing typos and missing page links. The new server is also a W2K server with ASP.NET V1 loaded. The classic site is moved to the new server also so you can compare performance between the two. So far, ASPdb.Net outperforms Classic ASP-db by a wide margin in both features and response time. The installation nightmare is gone. Really gone. But if you want to have a very secured site then there are a few places you have to make adjustment. If you think you can just move your ASP code to ASP.NET then you'll be in for a big surprise. For instance, the old ADO has been cut up into 3 pieces, OleDB, SQLClient and ODBC. Take your pick. Moving your ASP-db code to ASPdb.Net code will be easy. Syntax is the same and you'll have no problem. The new modules of ASPdb.Net are exciting and you should spend some time in the example gallery just to have an idea what is coming. All the goodies are integrated and full screen edit is also done. MagicCell is becoming more magic and new module like remote data collection will knock you off your chair. So, come back visit us in a week....
