    DTS error

    Hello!
I'm trying to run DTS package on the client machine using dtsrun utility and getting error message "Error string: the parameter is incorrect".
Same error pop up when trying to open Design Package in EM on client machine.
    Works fine on the server.

Did anybody experince the same problem?

    Thanks

    Lena

Check if SP2 is installed on the client machine.

I installed SP1 on client but I just checked the server SP and I'm not sure what SP installed there.
    I ran "select @@version" and it shows Microsoft SQL Server 7.00 - 7.00.842(Intel X86)

Standard Edition on Windows NT 4.0 (Build 1381: Service Pack 6)

I don't know 7.00.842-what SP it corresponds to?

    I figured it out.
    Microsoft SQL Server 7.00 - 7.00.842(Intel X86) corresponds to SP2 database Components.
I'll apply SP2 to the client and test it.

    Thanks
