You are running Win95 Desktop edition, yes?
You are running Win98 Desktop edition, yes?
You are running WinNT 4.0 Desktop edition, yes?....
You've upgraded from what to what?
In any case, backup all your db's then re-install making sure to disable any antivirus software and close any apps that use the mmc.exe.
You may wish to post more info for a better answer...
