HELP - how to get this text into fields
Ok - recently started a new job as a marketing support person and part of my job is to collect different types of sales leads from the internet.
I am fine with saving pages into text, importing text into Excel etc. But, here's my problem, the product managers want to use this info to send mailers, etc.
I cannot figure out how to get something like this:
HVACR:2-J Supply Co., Inc
4021 Bishop La.
40218 Louisville
Telephone: 502/969-8400
2-J Supply Co., Inc
872 Valley St.
45404 Dayton
Telephone: 937/223-0811
Columns of text as above, into fields.
So essentially, is there a way to do it to get the data into fields in Access?
I will admit it's been a while since I've used Access to maybe the answer is simple or I"m not asking the question right when I try to research it. As you can see, it's a column of repeated similiar information that is not in a columnar table that is easily imported into Access.
I really appreciate the help? Thanks - Linda

I normally use VBA code to process the data and store it into records in a table.

Thanks for your reply!
That's what I ended up finding, a macro that was written for Excel that transposed rows to columns (for a whole worksheet) and then I can easily import to Access. But, I really appreciate you replying. - Linda
