I agree that the tools used in this tutorial worked really well together, and the tutorial as a whole was extremely helpful.

However, the configuration of MySQL was made to look like a piece of cake. I am beginner to web development. I installed and attempted to configure MySQL and had an awful experience.

I was finally able to run my database off another server, but my computer never allowed me to get it up and running on my own... lots of ERROR 1045 and ERROR 2003. There are a million different message boards concerning these errors, with so many different ways to try and fix the error. So basically, don't let this tutorial fool you that this will be a cake walk, because it's not always!
