    Log Shipping vs Replication

Can anyone tell me why or when you would use Log Shipping vs transactional replication. Any scenarios etc would be much appreciated. Thanks, JJV

Log Shipping has a little more of a delay associated with it; however, it's also much easier to handle. You'd use log shipping most effectively in a cluster situation.
