Help: Dual Language Support??
Hi all,
We have a customer who would like to support "Dual" Langauages (Chinese & English). Is this Possible with SQL Server? I need to get a clear picture of what is possible with SQL Server and Windows NT
Items to consider include:-
1. Does SQL Server support Chinese characters and how is this implemented (through Regional Settings or a configuration switch within SQL Server?). Is it True Unicode Support?
2. What client software is required to access Chinese characters and is this switchable or is this configured through Control Panel/Regional Settings.
3. As Chinese characters require `double-bytes` Does this affect the structure of the DB? Will it effect any searching by either Chinese or English
Does anybody have any pointers to where I can find this information?
Thanks for any help
Regards
Mick
