    2000 vs 2005

    can anyone point me to where microsoft are displaying the product expiry of SQL 2000, ie how soon do we need to be looking at adopting the new version?

    never mind, found it after continuing my digging ...

    apparently we have 2 years after 2005 goes live, any guesses when that is?

    According to microsoft, they will be launching sql 2005 in the week of Nov 7th.
    I'd keep a close update on the website closer to the launch to get the exact date.
