To All,

I visited my ISP and noticed that all of their MS-SQL servers are gone replaced by MYSQL servers. A qucik demo reviewed that MYSQL has improved a lot since I last seen it. A DotNet Client is also available and very similar to the SQLClient. A qucik test using the MYSQLClient proves that it is quicker than the MS-SQL by a good margin. The word is that the speed of the SELECT is fast enough to compensate the SP and the View. So, if there is interest, I can re-do the MYSQL using the MYSQLClient in Tornado. I think the price of the two (almost 0 vs. 5-7K) would make MYSQL the winner eventually. SAP and other big guys are officially endorsing MYSQL also.
