    Error in Oracle Developer

    I am trying to run Oracle Reports Developer (part of Oracle 9i Developer Suites) and am running into an error that says:

    REP - 0018 unable to create a temporary file.

    Action to fix is:
    A) To set an environment variable for temporary files to a valid directory.

    B) Remove existing temporary file, if possible.

    My question is, does anyone know if this refers to setting an environment variable under Windows?

    If not, then where does one set the environment variable for temporary files?

    Sounds like it is windows environment variable. You can set it in My Computer - Properties.
