    dbcc scans on MSSQL 2000

hi, i'm monitoring a SQL server 2000 and every 5 minutues aprox. a dbcc scan is triggered on 2 databases only.

how can i deactivate this scans or how can i define a longer period of time between them?

    thanks

Which monitoring tool do you use? Do you know which process triggered dbcc scan?

    monitoring tool: Spotlight
    database: SQL 2000 SP3

i dont know which process triggers the scan,
but i saw that is a "dbcc consistency check" on 2 of the databases.

The tool needs to turn on certain trace flag to get sql server info. You can try reset pooling interval in spotlights.

It must be flag 208, it is set whenever anyone does SET QUOTED IDENTIFIER ON/OFF.

    Nothing to worry about.
