    opening a form in datasheet view

    Hello all.

    I am attempting to open a form from a switchboard. While this is a very easy thing to accomplish under normal circumstances, I am having all kind of difficulties opening it into datasheet view. I have the default set to datasheet view, and it opens that way if I open it from the forms container, but it opens in form view from the switchboard. Anyone know of a good way to get this to happen?

    write a Marco to open the form in datsheet view, and run the macro fron the switchboard ...

    if you are using the DoCmd.OpenForm action then you can also specify which type of form view you want within there.

    Is your form modal ? May not be able to display or switch to datasheet view if your form is modal.
