    installation problems

    Trying to install MySQL on a windows2k advanced server OS.

    Doesn't even start the installation. Some sort of wowexec.exe problem? Need some assitance please?

    I have done several Windows installs, but never came across that error. Me thinks it might be something OS related, and not MySQL. I may be wrong though.

    You should also check you checksums. You can find the checksum info on the downloads page
