I got the above message after running the sample asp test pages. Does anyone know what is causing the error?

Doug,
Not exactly sure, but could very well be that you need to upgrade to ADO 2.1.
There is a link to Microsoft's update site on our Useful Links page at:

Go there and click on the MDAC/ADO 2.1 site.

That might help.
