    ASPDB, Memory, and Conflicts

We have been trying to get ASPDBView.dll to run reliabely for months now.

How much memory is best for this dll?
Anyone ever have conflicts between ASPDB.DLL and ASP.DLL?

Here is how it doesn't work.
Server rebooted: Can run ASPDB 4 or 5 times.
SOMETIMES the ASP.dll will stop serving .asp files. At the same time ASPDB.dll will just time out and never run again, until the server is rebooted!

Has anyone encountered this? What Fix is nessary?

    Thanks
    John

    John,
You have to get the latest version of all the evals and pitch the old ones. The new ones are all apartment threaded and also use Context Objetct. Contact support and make sure you are getting that. aspdb.com is a single server running that and with SQL7 on the same server executing all the examples at the same time handling all the traffic. You would not find this ASPdb server "down" at all. The performance improvement is significant !!

There is no conflict betwee ASPDB.dll and any others ones.

If you still have problem, let me know.

    John,

Indeed ! Check out the website and learn about all the new exciting new stuff. You are 3 versions from the top. Download the evals and check them out or at least surf the web site and see all the new examples like templates and build-in charting. Also, a correction, object context is only used in the Enterprise and 2K versions and not the view/pro version.

    Frank
