hi, is asp db for someone who only knows HTML, or I have to first learn basic asp then move to asp db...

what exactelly is asp db and how it different from basic asp
what do I gain if I used asp db instead of MS visual interdev 6.0

Hi Ali,

To use ASP-db, you need to have at least a basic understanding of HTML. Knowledge of the basics of ASP will help if you want to do any programming beyond what ASP-db can do by itself. In essence, it's a tool which reduces the work of displaying and editing a database on the web from thousands of lines of code, down to only a handful. You can have a working system in minutes instead of months.

Still, to provide a complete "site", you'd need to create the HTML pages that contain the ASP-db code such as logos, menus, etc. Assuming you can already create HTML pages, ASP-db will make the difficult job of displaying and editing database information on your site a snap.
