Recently we tried to upgrade our database to SQL 7.0 to another server using the upgrade wizard.

I inherited this mess where everyone is using an ACCESS 97 front end to do everything!

Tried and failed to connect to the new server and new database. The access tables are linking to the OLD server, regardless of which server my ODBC32 driver says to use.

Aside from having to relink every table by using the linked table manager wizard, is there any way to tell the Access front ends to use the new server?

It would be impractical to have to go to every single user, and run the wizard to relink the tables for every change in the front end.

Isn't there a way to basically relink the tables and pass through querys to the new server without having to go through this hell?
