My mail box is being bombarded with daily messages

Does anyone know how I can stop receiving automatic message download from the discussion forum? I only registered yesterday and today I found 80 emails downloaded into my account.

This is really annoying and its causing me to exceed my mail box quota

Change your preferences from receiving messages via email. Just set it so you look at it on the board.
