Passing values from ADD Screen

Is it possible to pass a value from the ADD screen?
If while adding a value, a user makes field 11 "yes", can I pass that "yes" on to another page. I know the export feature lets you pass a value from the main screen, but it doesn't seem to pass a value from the add screen. Any ideas?

An ADD screen is a FORM. Why can't you pick it up from the URL upon submit ?
