Want to Learn SQL Rather Quickly

Good morning all,

I would like to learn SQL rather quickly. I have SQL Server 2008 installed on my system, and would like to follow "Sam's Learn SQL in 21 Days" as was suggested by a friend. Where do I find the data with which to work? Am I supposed to use the template databases included?

Sorry to sound so lame, I just want to be sure I'm on the right path.

If book comes with sample db, you can attach it to your sql server. Otherwise download sample dbs from MS.
