While installing from the Server disc, the sql 2000 client tools are installed by default in the C drive. But since I don't have enough space in the C drive, I wonder if there is a way to install in other drive. I looked in BOL and Microsoft knowledge base, but didn't find the specific answer. Any suggestion will be highly appreciated.
During installation you can define a path for the program files (incl. client tools and the datafiles. But be aware there are some program files are always placed on your c: drive. In total this is about 30Mb.
